How to Install emacs24 software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

emacs24 software package provides GNU Emacs editor (with GTK+ GUI support), you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install emacs24

emacs24 is installed in your system.
